Itinerary:
Day 1 – Wednesday (Dinner)
Arrive San Francisco/Oakland International Airport. Transfer to your Hotel in
Healdsburg, situated in the heart of Sonoma. Spend afternoon getting acquainted
with hotel, and strolling Healdsburg’s many boutique shops, restaurants,
and wine bars. Reception at Wilson Winery – Meet Ken and Diane, owner
and wine maker. Tour of the winery, wine and reception with hors d’ouevres,
and barrel tasting. Dinner in Healdsburg.
Day 2 – Thursday (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Breakfast at your hotel. Tour of Ferrari-Carano Vineyards, noted for having
the most beautiful gardens in wine country, the most spectacular vista and a
wonderful wine cellar. Visits to four wineries with wine tasting. Lunch in Healdsburg
at a gourmet deli or similar eatery. Dinner at a Healdsburg restaurant. Tour
guide will provide many recommendations and transportation. Hotel in Healdsburg.
Day 3 – Friday (Breakfast, Dinner)
Breakfast at your hotel Tour of Champagne Cellars and four wineries. Lunch on
own. Group dinner at a wine estate with spectacular wines and vista. Hotel in
Healdsburg.
Day 4 – Saturday (Breakfast, Dinner)
Breakfast at your hotel. Visits to four wineries. Lunch and shopping
on your own in Sausalito. Transfers to San Francisco by Ferry. You will be met
at the San Francisco Dock by your guide. Afternoon check in at your hotel San
Francisco’s Fisherman’s Wharf. Free time to explore Fisherman’s
wharf or to rest and relax before dinner. Group dinner at Italian or Chinese
restaurant. Transfer on own by cab or cable car with guide assistance. Late
evening happy hour at Buena Vista, world famous Irish coffee bar.
Day 5 – Sunday (Breakfast, Dinner)
Breakfast at the hotel. Day free to explore San Francisco, we suggest: the “37
mile ride” including Pacific Ocean, Golden Gate Park, the Presidio, Haight
Ashbury, and the Castro district by van if desired (a wonderful city tour),
a trip on the bay to Sausalito or Alcatraz by ferry, and a visit to the Wine
Club in San Francisco, a discount wine cellar. Dinner at a restaurant on Fisherman’s
Wharf.
Day 6 – Monday (Breakfast)
Transfer to San Francisco/Oakland International airport.
