Day 1 – Depart USA for SANTIAGO

Day 2 – SANTIAGO (Dinner)
Arrive Santiago early morning. Meet and greet at the airport, and transfer to your hotel. Lunch on own. In the afternoon, City tour of Santiago, including visits to Palacio Cousiño; Club Hípico Race Track; Presidential Palace and different residential areas of Santiago, pre-Colombian Art Museum (optional). Continue tour to San Cristobal Hill and surrounding area. Welcome dinner at local restaurant 10:00 pm.

Day 3 – Tour of SANTIAGO (Breakfast and Lunch)
After breakfast, we will take a Museum Tour, visiting the contemporary art gallery at Plaza Mulato Gil, religious art from Cuzco School and the San Francisco Church Museum. Lunch at Central Market. Afternoon at leisure. In the early evening, there will be a pre-dinner presentation. “Vines & Wines of Chile”, by A.González. Dinner on your own.

Day 4 - POMAIRE & ISLA NEGRA & VIÑA DEL MAR (Breakfast and Lunch)
After breakfast, we will visit a clay artisans village – Pomaire. Afterwards, we will drive to Isla Negra to visit Pablo Neruda’s House-Museum. Pablo is the Chilean poet winner of the 1971 Nobel Prize in Literature who inspired the film Il Postino (The Postman). He is considered the main poet of Spanish language of the XXth century. After we visit the Museum,we will drive to Viña del Mar where we will have lunch at a local restaurant. Your afternoon will be free for you to shop, sightsee or just relax. Dinner will be on your own. You will have an ocean view room from your hotel on the Pacific Ocean.

Day 5 – VALPARAISO (Breakfast)
After a hearty breakfast, we will do a walking tour of Valparaiso, World Heritage City. You will have plenty of time to enjoy the old architecture, history and culture of this city-port. Lunch will be at a local restaurant on your own. In the afternoon, there will be a brief visit to Viña del Mar. We will visit the Fonk Museum, which has artefacts from the Rapanui culture (Easter Island). Dinner on your own.

Day 6 -- VIÑA DEL MAR – MENDOZA (Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner)
Today we will leave the hotel for Mendoza. On the way, we will drive to Panquehue (2 hrs) in the Aconcagua valley. We will visit the Errázuriz – Caliterra Winery, a joint venture between the Chilean Chadwick Family and Robert Mondavi. After our visit, we will continue our drive to Mendoza, Argentina. You will see spectacular valleys and sights of the Andes, at an altitude of 3,600 m. Lunch will be in Portillo, with view of the Inca Lagoon. We go through a mountain pass and cross the border into Argentina at a height of 3,600 m. You will enjoy a spectacular view of the Aconcagua Mountain, the highest summit in the Western Hemisphere. Tonight there will be a dinner with a Tango Show. Hotel in Mendoza.

Day 7 – MENDOZA (Breakfast and Lunch)
After breakfast we will visit the -- La Rural and Lopez wineries. We will also have a barbecue lunch at the -- La Agricola winery, with folk music. In the Afternoon, we will visit the Viniterra winery.

Day 8 -- MENDOZA – SANTIAGO – SANTA CRUZ (Breakfast and Lunch)
We will bus to the airport for our noon flight to Santiago. After we arrive in Santiago, we will continue our journey to the Maipo Valley where we will visit the Concha y Toro winery. Lunch will be on the way. After our winery visit, we will drive to Santa Cruz valley. Dinner on your own. Hotel in Santa Cruz.

Day 9 -- COLCHAGUA WINE COUNTRY (Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner)
In the morning, after breakfast, we will visit the historic Colonial House of El Huique. Our first wine tasting of the day will be at the Montes winery, in the Apalta Valley. Shortly after this visit, we will visit the Viu Manent winery. We will enjoy a barbecue lunch at Viu Manent Restaurant. The afternoon will be free for your leisure, shopping, or sightseeing. At 5:30 pm in the afternoon, we will visit the world class Museum of Colchagua, with its famous ambar collection. There will be a Chilean cuisine class with dinner at the Hotel.

Day 10 -- COLCHAGUA VALLEY – MAIPO VALLEY (Breakfast and Dinner)
In the morning, after breakfast, we will drive to Alto Jahuel, in the Maipo Valley to the Santa Rita Estate. Lunch will be on your own at the Doña Paula Restaurant. The afternoon will be free to enjoy the Park, the Chapel and the silence. We will also visit the world famous Santa Rita winery. Farewell dinner and hotel in the Maipo Valley.

Day 11 – SANTIAGO (Breakfast)
Lunch on your own. In the afternoon, we will drive to Santiago. You will have time to visit the Art Galleries, museums or to do any last minute shopping. Transfers to the airport for your flight back home will be at 7:00pm.
